Domaine Tissot Arbois Chardonnay "Clos de la Tour de Curon" white 2016
96/100 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Luis Guttierez, juin 2019) : 96/100. I love the elegant and mineral 2016 Arbois Chardonnay Clos de la Tour de Curon, a restrained, shy and austere Chardonnay from a historical place in Jura where legends like Camile Loye had vines. In fact, Stéphane Tissot works those vines now, vines that are quite old and produce balanced juice and go to Gravieres, but this is produced from the vines at the top, in the clos surrounding the tower. There is very nice integration of all the components here, with more freshness than the 2015. This is a structured and serious wine that should age for a very long time in bottle. Seven barriques produced about 2,000 bottles and some magnums. Drink date 2019-2036
