Robert Parker's Wine advocate (Jeb Dunnuck - avr. 2017) : 93/100. Made from a blend of 54% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache and Carignan (aged in a combination of tank and older barrels), the sensational 2014 Saint Chinian Clos de la Simonette sports a deep ruby/purple color as well as classic notes of damp underbrush, black and blue fruits, spice and spring flowers. Drink this big, rich, mouthfilling and incredibly textured beauty anytime over the coming 6-8 years. 300 cases. Drink date 2017-2025.

Robert Parker's Wine advocate (Jeb Dunnuck - avr. 2016) : The 2014 Saint Chinian Clos de la Simonette is similar [to causse du bousquet], with slightly more freshness, and tannin, as well as lots of dark fruit, black pepper and crushed rocks. Made from 65% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache and the rest Carignan, from south-facing parcels, aged in demi-muids, it will benefit from a year or two in bottle once released. 90-92/100.
