Canet Valette, a reference in Saint Chinian
Marc Valette produces at Canet Valette estate some great Languedoc organic wines, in Saint Chinian appellation for almost 30 years. His powerful red wines are based on typical Languedoc grape varieties: Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault.
This is a beautiful family story: Marc Valette takes over the family vineyards under the watchful but benevolent eye of his grandfather. After a few years, tired of bringing his grapes to the cooperative, he decided in 1992 to make his own bottling to bet on quality.
Canet Valette estate covers 20 hectares of clay and limestone soil. Certified organic by ECOCERT since 1999, the winemaker is very attentive to the earth, and takes extra care to the vine and winemaking. The vines are treated with herbal teas, the harvest is manual, the farms are long. Especially for the fine wine "Maghani", aged on the estate for 3 years! Authentic wines, with a great personality, have made the Canet Valette estate a reference in the Saint Chinian appellation.
