Domaine de Crève Cœur, Pablo Hocht
In 2010, after studying chemical engineering, Pablo Hocht decided to leave everything behind to return to his native land and live off his passion: wine and nature.
Leaning against the hill of Séguret, it is the century-old family house called "Crève Cœur" which gave its name to the estate. This is where the winegrower's adventure began and where his passion was born.
To make his dream come true, he studied for two years to obtain the famous National Diploma of Oenologist before acquiring 2 then 3 hectares of old vines in Sablet then Séguret, essentially Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault. In 2022, the estate extended to 7.5 small hectares of old vines, tended by hand all year round.
From the start, Pablo Hocht, who is extremely respectful of nature, has worked his vines according to the rules of organic and biodynamic agriculture. He obtained the Demeter certification and the AB label in 2014.
