Domaine Figuière - Combard Family

Figuière is one of the pioneers of excellence in Provence, producing red, white, and rosé wines. In fact, Figuière's prestigious rosé is named "Pionnière"!

Figuière has become the ambassador for prestige wines in Provence, driven by over 40 years of certified organic farming! Note that this is not an international brand mixing various juices in a beautiful bottle, but a family-owned estate passionate about the craft of winemaking. Originally from Burgundy, with a universally respected expertise in fine white wines, the Combard family established themselves in Provence on what is considered the best terroir, La Londe les Maures, maintaining the same high standards of quality.

Since settling in 1992, the estate has expanded, with the most recent extension in Collobrières, adding a second terroir to complement the historic La Londe: Pignans, with its clay-limestone soils located in the Var inland valley with a continental climate, and Collobrières, with schist soils free from maritime influence but benefitting from the refreshing coolness at the bottom of a valley within the Maures Mountains.

Now, it’s up to the family’s blending expertise to create the estate's various cuvées!

Today, Delphine, Magali, and François, children of founder Alain Combard, manage the 180 hectares with exceptional attention to detail. The primary red and rosé grape varieties are the noble GSM trio: Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, while the white varieties include Rolle, Sémillon, and Ugni Blanc.
