Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Neal Martin, 27 nov. 2015) : The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St Jacques has an elegant and refined bouquet, subtle red rose and cold limestone scents infusing the pure, detailed red cherries and strawberry aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with tensile, supple and very fine tannin. This is all about the tension and focus. There is not the body or concentration of a bona fide great vintage, but there is a wonderful, life-affirming sense of minerality on the finish that will leave you grinning like a Cheshire cat (with a penchant for expensive Burgundy).
