Vinified with around two-thirds whole cluster, Duband's 2017 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Cuvée Louis Auguste wafts from the glass with pretty aromas of rose petals, berries and plums, framed by a touch of oak. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, supple and fleshy, built around ripe acids and powdery tannins. This is already drinking well. Drink date 2020-2035.
