A cuvée produced from purchased grapes, the 2018 Morgon Corcelette derives from a parcel that's situated at the comparatively high elevation of 470 meters and characterized by poor, decomposed granite soils. Revealing notes of blackberries, cassis, raspberries and grilled meat, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and satiny, with a charming, expansive profile and fine tannins concealed in succulent fruit. This is a head-turning Corcelette that's already hard to resist. Drink 2019-2029.
