Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Jeb Dunnuck, Dec. 2016) : 91-93/100. More Syrah-dominated, the 2015 Ventoux la Quintessence (80% Syrah and 20% Grenache) sports a saturated purple color as well as abundant notes of blackberries, blueberries, cracked pepper, violets and smoked herbs. Young, backwards and unevolved, it has plenty of fruit, ripe tannin and outstanding length.
