Sir, I'm sorry this wine doesn't meet your expectations. We know all our wines and are happy to advise all our customers over the phone to help them find what they like in our range. This Meursault village is indeed more taut than fat, at least in its youth, a character increasingly sought after by certain winemakers to avoid heaviness, at least in their "village" cuvées. Of course, with time, the brioche you expect will appear, but the 2016 vintage is still too young in 2017 for such characteristics to already be present. I thought our description in the wine datasheet on our site was self-explanatory, and am confused that it wasn't. I will hasten to clarify it so as not to disappoint new "classic" chardonnay lovers (to whom I would recommend more the Puligny from the same domaine, and of course the premier crus for more complexity).
