Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Yohan Castaing, dec. 2024) : 96/100. Crafted entirely from Malbec planted on red clay soils, the 2020 Marguerite wafts from the glass with delicate aromas of cedar, dark berries, spices, mulberries and flowers mingled with notes of loamy soils. Full-bodied, dense and deep, it has a rich chassis of tannins, a fleshy core of fruit, velvety tannins and a silky and refined character, concluding with a long, spicy and endless finish. Though somewhat reserved at this stage, a few years of cellaring will reveal its true potential as one of the best wines of Cahors. DRINK DATE 2024-2054.
