Richer and more generous than its 2017 sibling, Duband's 2018 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Cuvée Louis Auguste offers up aromas of cherries, ripe berry fruit and plums, framed by a deft touch of toasty oak. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and gourmand, balanced by lively acids. Drink date 2022-2040.
