Description

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Neal Martin - décembre 2016) : 90-92/100. The 2015 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Mont des Oiseaux is the same vineyard as the Petit Arlot, which is to say that it still comes from the younger vines in Clos de l'Arlot. At the time of my visit, the domaine was verifying with the authorities if they could use the name. This was completely de-stemmed. It has a crisp, well-defined, red cherry and crushed strawberry bouquet with touches of cold limestone. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry with a grainy texture, bright red berry fruit, quite elegant in style with a harmonious and slightly saline finish. This should give plenty of drinking pleasure over the next decade. Drink date 2018-2028.
