Description

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Antonio Galloni- avr. 2012) : 94/100. The 2009 Nuits St. Georges Clos de l’Arlot has begun to shut down, even though it possesses tremendous depth. The warm, radiant personality of the vintage is present but the tannins have become much more prominent over the last year, always a good sign for potential longevity. The 2009 reveals notable freshness and vibrancy all the way through to the finish, where the wine becomes weightless and totally beautiful. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029. I was blown away by Domaine de l’Arlot’s 2009s when I tasted them from bottle. Most of the wines came in at the high end or above my projected scores from barrel. I found a purity and frankness in these wines that was compelling.
