Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Joe Czerwinski, octobre 2019) : 92-94/100. This cuvée normally spends two years in foudre, hence the tentative score from my June visit. A blend of 60% Grenache and 20% each Mourvèdre and Syrah, the 2017 Cairanne Haut Coustias comes across as just a bit more open-knit than the single-vineyard les Douyes, but it boasts similar (if more subdued) notes of licorice, plums and black cherries. It's full-bodied, rich and velvety, with a long, long finish. Drink date 2020-2030
