Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (William Kelley, août 2019) : 92+/100. The 2017 Viré-Clessé Mlle Agathe hails from a parcel of 60-year-old vines located in a small depression, and it was vinified and matured in once-used 500-liter barrels for 18 months. Unfurling to reveal aromas of almond paste, green apple, dried white flowers and vanilla pod, it's medium to full-bodied, broad and powerful, with impressive concentration and chewy extract, concluding with good back-end grip—and without revealing any trace of its two grams of residual sugar. Drink date 2020-2033.
