Roucas is Dominique Hauvette's "small" cuvée, intended for simpler consumption than the other cuvées. However, we recommend a few hours' aeration in a carafe to allow it to open up. We thoroughly enjoyed this wine during our tasting in early 2020. It's certainly finer than it is structured, but it's a real pleasure to drink. Perhaps it has since closed up, so let's give it some time in the cellar to blossom!
