Robert Parker's wine advocate (William Kelley, janvier 2019) : 91-93/100. The 2017 Volnay 1er Cru Les Caillerets is one of the more ethereal wines in the cellar, exhibiting classy aromas of red cherries, spices, rose petal and rock salt. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, fine-boned and satiny, with delicate but chalky structuring tannins, bright acids and lovely purity of fruit. I suspect it will improve further before it's bottled.
