Le Fief Noir Anjou Villages "Le Rêveur" red 2019

Grapes : 50% Cabernet franc 50% Cabernet sauvignon

Terroir : Clayey-sandy on schist.

Age of grapevines : 35 years old

Cultivation : Pruning in Guyot simple, spring disbudding and summer green harvest. Tillage and cavaillon all rows. This ploughing favors the deep rooting of the vine, which resists the excesse or shortage water.

Grape Harvest : Manual in slatted crates of 12 kg. We did a selection during the harvest, the aim is to keep a mature and healthy grape (without noble one botrytis).

Vinification : Maceration of 1 month in concrete tank with wild yeast. Maturing in oaks barrels (2/3) and amphoras (1/3) for 12 months.

Tasting : Intensive red color with shades of tiles-red. Nose with ripe fruits and cloves notes. The palate has silky tannins with a long and creamy finish.

Accompaniment : Morvan terrine, leg of lamb, Rocher nantais…
