The estate has the distinction of being as highly rated as the other stars of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and of continuing to sell its wines at affordable prices. The Sabon family is renowned for its Châteauneuf-du-Pape, judged by all to be among the best in the AOP, but you should also discover their talent through the other crus of the family estate: Côtes du Rhône (Vieilles Vignes), Lirac or IGP ("à Rebours"​, merlot+syrah), made with just as much expertise, knowledge of the soil and more generally of the terroir, and always at these crazy prices in view of the quality of the wines on offer.

The Guide RVF des Meilleurs Vins de France 2025 rates the domaine 3★/4, while the Guide Bettane + Desseauve awards them 5★/5: “Inimitable in the style and singular character of these wines, the domaine is at the top.”
