Guide Bettane et Desseauve 2016 : Un moelleux prononcé mais une fine salinité qui apporte beaucoup de pureté, elle engage à patienter, jolie trame en bouche, un vin structuré, droit, tout en finesse malgré sa richesse de type demi-sec. Apogée : de 2022 à 2028.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Stephan Reinhardt, oct. 2015 ) : From younger (14 years old) vines in the cool and late ripening Wiptal section, the straw yellow 2013 Pinot Gris Grand Cru Sommerberg W shows ripe and concentrated fruit aromas on the nose. Rich, lush and sweet, this full-bodied and powerful wine is provided with good tannins, and reveals a good intensity and piquancy. Quite soft in its texture and still too young. "We never do the green harvest here since we get small, ripe and concentrated berries of excellent quality. To be honest, sometimes I wish I had more berries."
