Riesling Grand Cru Sommerberg "D" 2022

Guide RVF des Meilleurs Vins de France 2025 (août 2024) : 96/100. La cuvée D est un modèle de précision et d'éclat de saveurs, avec sa structure tout en longueur et son relief épicé en finale.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Stephan Reinhardt, février 2025) : 94+/100. From vines planted in 1946 and 1952 on a lower Sommerberg plot with granite topping limestone bedrock, the 2022 Grand Cru Sommerberg Riesling Dudenstein was picked earlier than all the other selections from the grand cru. The Dudenstein is clear and generous yet also precise on the nose, providing ripe pear aromas and spicy terroir notes. Rich, round and generous yet also very savory on the palate and provided with fine but palatable tannins, this is a full-bodied, intense and tensioned Riesling with a long and expressive finish. The 2022 Dudenstein will certainly benefit from further bottle aging. 13.5% alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024. Drink date 2025-2055.
